Modern Slavery Act 2015

The Modern Slavery Act 2015 (‘MSA’) requires businesses to state what action the company has taken to date in regard to ensuring that slavery and human trafficking is not taking place within their organization.

Here at Data Intensity, we are committed to tackling modern day slavery and are working in accordance with the recommendations of the MSA by:

  • Ensuring that all UK workers are in receipt of the minimum wage.
  • Ensuring that we have adequate security procedures in place to check that all workers have the right to work in the UK – we currently conduct background screening, and checks are carried out to ensure that all workers are compliant and can work in the UK.
  • Using reputable recruitment agencies, where required, ensuring that they are working towards the same standards concerning right to work checks and compliance with the Modern Slavery Act.
  • Having appropriate procedures in place to allow employees to report, without fear or retaliation, matters related to human trafficking and forced labor. The Company has general HR reporting lines for this, and employees can approach HR in confidence should they have any issues or concerns.

We continually work on our policies and procedures to make sure we are up to date and are aware of any changes in legislation.
